I described myself as an enthusiastic amateur, who's been blessed.

 

My fascination for Photography started when I was only four years old when my mom got my siblings and me dressed up for a neighbor's party.  Once there my neighbor appeared with her new Polaroid and gathered us together for a photo.  I was amazed by the fact that in only a few minutes we were able to see our faces and bodies just the way we were.  At that right moment I wanted to own a camera, but it was not until my late college years that I finally got the means to own a film camera. 

 

People will come to me very often in public and ask me if I am a professional photographer, not because I am carrying the most expensive equipment, but because the active way I behave while I take photos, laying down on floor, climbing rocks, moving people around, and rushing from one place to the other just to get the best shot out of my subject.  I was always answering to them that "I just like taking pictures."

It was not until last year that I got a DSLR as a gift, that I finally got my wish of having the opportunity of immersing myself into this wonderful world of imagination and creativity.  Very soon, I realized that I don't just take pictures, I create photographs, and I like it very much.  Every photograph that I take is an expression of something created out love, my love for flowers, animals, insects, food, still life, and much more.
